The mission of The Afrikan Village & Cultural Center of New York City is to be an Afrikan-Centered, Scripture-based ministry of Excellence whose purpose is to Educate, Elevate, and Enable its members, through the knowledge of the Truth, to serve the community and rescue our people with the message of Black Liberation while striving to be compassionate in our Mer (Love), excellent in our service, Doing MAAT (Truth, Justice, Righteousness, Order, Balance, Harmony & Reciprocity) in our living and seriously devoted in our Fellowship, Spirituality, and Reverence to the Divine.
